There are various job profiles for the female candidates in Railways. The candidates are selected through RRB written exam and Personal Interview.

Here are some of the positions to which women are generally selected :

* Group A and Group B posts.

* Travel Executives.

* Team leader - Overseas recruitment.

* Personal Secretary.

* Stenographer.

* Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist.

* Senior clerk.

* Multi Tasking Staff (MTS).

For Grouip A and Group B posts, the candidates should write the civil services examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
