Re: Joining Defence after 5 years integrated Law course?
As you are willing to join Indian Army and Airforce , you may go for the NDA exam .
N.D.A --- NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY As you are going to pass 5th year Integrated course in Law next year , You can not go for the N.D.A exam Because for to be eligible for the N.D.A exam , you must have the minimum of 12th class as a qualification . The minimum age could be 16.5 years and the maximum age is allowed up to 19 years . Remember there is no age relaxation for the reserved candidates . So I recommend you to go for the C.D.S exam . C.D.S -- COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES EXAMINATION You must be a Graduate pass out with a science stream from a recognized university . The minimum age could be 19 years for this . And the maximum age is allowed up to 25 years. So the notification of the Examination be released in the months of August / March month .And the conduct of examination is around February and August . So the age limits and various streams are given below category wisely -- > Air Force Academy - 19 - 23 years > Officers Training Academy - 19 - 25 years > Naval Academy - 19 - 22 years > Indian Military Academy - 19 - 24 years For applying the above fields the minimum qualification needed is Bachelor Degree from a recognized university . The scheme of examination is Written Examination and Interview . So the notification of the examination will be released in the Month of August and March . |
