I had remedical of NDA entry but I was rejected due to myopia in right eye 4 and left eye it is 4.5. My question is can I have one more chance and can I do LASIK and go for it. I am 19 and half year old. Please reply me.

In Indian Army or any defense job LASIK is not accepted even, if you have a perfect eyesight after undergoing such surgery. Doctors will examine your eye during medical examination and will reject you, if they found that you have done LASIK to improve your eyesight.

The prime reason for it is, that for Army job you need to undergo hard training and after LASIK your doctor will not allow you to do any strenous work as it can have an effect on surgery. Hence, all they want is natural eyesight which should be good enough according to the standards.
