Girls are not eligible for NDA Examination. Only unmarried boys can apply for NDA Examination..

You can take admission into Graduation and opt for NCC if you are interested in experiencing the Defense type of lifestyle and become ready for Indian Defense.

There is Women Special Entry Scheme for NCC cadets who are having 'C' Certificate with at least a 'B' Grade.

Those who crack NDA exam have to do Graduation from National Defence Academy and it will be college with Military life.

You are thinking that those who crack NDA straight away join Indian Defence but this is wrong they join after completion of their graduation from National Defence Academy and undergo training then they join the Defence. So if you complete you Graduation and crack CDS exam then you will be at par with the boys.

Also the age limit for NDA exam is under 16.5 to 19 years and it considered quite young age for Girls to join Indian Defence.

So you can take up Graduation course and start preparing for CDS examination. There are options for Girls to join Defence after Graduation so don't worry and maintain your focus.

It doesn't matter whether you join Army after 12th or Graduation.

The Eligibility Criteria For NDA Exam are :
