is it mandatory to attend gate exam before
appearing for IBPS exam..
please help me on this .so that it will be very useful to me...

It is not mandatory to qualify in GATE for IBPS exam.

IBPS stand for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selections.

Only those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS PO and clerk exam.

For IBPS po exam, your age should be 20 to 30 years.

For IBPS clerk exam, your age should be 20 to 28 years.

No dear , actually GATE is the Examination for the B.Tech students who are interested to get a job in various PSU's. And IBPS is the Examination to get a job in BANKING SECTOR. So you can try to understand the difference between those.

If you want to get a job in Banking sector then IBPS score is very much needed for Final Selection.

Selection Process through IBPS :

1.IBPS Written Examination

2.Interview (Which is conducted by the State H Q Bank )

There is No reference of IBPS from the Interview to final selection.I think you will get a Clear idea about IBPS and GATE .

To be precise, it is definitely not mandatory for appearing for the GATE exam before the IBPS one.
Both the exams are totally different and do not have any correlation. So you prepare for the exam you are aiming at and forget such misconceptions.

No, you can have the mandatory to appear in GATE before for the preparation of IBPS exam. Because the IBPS stands for institute of banking, personal selection.
The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in the IBPS exam is the candidate who have completed his graduation from the recognized university are eligible to attend the IBPS exam.
