Before applying for training in DRDO you should select a field in which you are interested in and that will be suitable to your studies. So visit the DRDO site and select a lab, where you want to do the training. Labs can be viewed in a regional manner, so you can check the no. of labs established in Bangalore.

Then prepare a resume and a letter describing your purpose for training in that field and what you want to achieve with the stay there and then mail it to the director of the DRDO of Bangalore branch.

You will receive a call or mail if selected. And you will also have to go through a short interview where they will ask you about your interests and academic activities. The questions will be focused mostly on the resume you have provided them.

Now you have to bring a letter of allowance for training from the Training Department cell of your college and you need to forward it to DRDO. That’s it.
