Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Level Examination every year for various vacancies in Government departments.

ELIGIBILITY:

* All Indian Nationals are eligible for the SSC examination.

* Candidate should be between 18-27 years.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* A Graduate Degree in any discipline from a Recognized university.

* For the Post of Assistants (CSS), computer proficiency is also a compulsory requirement.

SSC is conducted CGL,LDC,FCI,Higher secondary level exams. All exams doesn't require any kind percentage marks.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for above mentioned jobs.

If you have completed 12th standard then you are eligible for LDC,10+2 level exam.

But your age should be in between 18 to 27 years.

Age relaxation is provided as per government rule for reserved category candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC:

You can appear for SSC exam at two levels, i.e., after 12th standarsd and after completion of graduation, both should be done from a recognized University.

. After completion of your 12th standard you are eligible for SSC exams like: LDC, 10+2 Level Exam.

. After completion of your Graduation you are eligible for SSC exams like: Combined Graduate Level Examination and also for the above mentioned 10+2 Level Exam.

Staff Selection Commission takes exam for most of the central govt jobs at almost all levels.
So there is no fixed qualification and age limit as the posts are all different and exams are all different.
SSC conducts exam for 12th pass, Common exam for Graduates irrespective of stream, Exam for post graduates, Engineering graduates,Engineering diploma holders, Specific stream Graduates etc.
Age limits varies for all exams.
You need to check as per your qualification.
