An SI can be promoted to SP rank only by means of special awards?
I do not agree with that answer. A SI can't be promoted to SP rank, but there's some condition to be promoted to SP rank. If you do some precious works and and achieve some special award for police department. You may be promoted to be IPS officer and some selected peoples are done in there life. Am I right?

A special award can certainly raise your designation in a government job without any doubt, but only within the same department.
A person of police department will get promotion only in the same department and will not get post of any other service. |
