Hello sir, I have passed 10th exam and want to be a Income Tax Officer. So, tell me which stream should I choose in 11th standard to be Income Tax officer? Can I be the IT officer through SSC exam?

As you have mentioned that you have completed 10th standard and you want to become an Income Tax officer, so the minimum qualification required for the same is graduation in any stream from a recognized college/university with minimum 60% marks. You can choose any stream during your 11th and 12th standard. Your age should be in between 18 to 27 years.

With this eligibility criteria you have to appear for an entrance examination conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission). Therefore, you can become an IT officer after qualifying the SSC examination.
