Hello sir, I have completed 12th and Graduation with Art stream and now want to be an Income Tax Officer. So, please tell me am I eligible to apply for it? If, yeas then tell me which type of questions asked in this exam?

No, 12th standard candidates are not eligible for Income Tax Officer exam. If you have completed graduation degree in any specialization from a recognized University then you are eligible for Income Tax Officer exam through SSC CGL exam.

Your age should be below 27 years.

Yes, you can apply for an Income Tax Officer. All those candidates which have completed graduation from a valid university can apply. SSC conducts Combined graduate level Exam for various posts & one of them is IT Officer. You must prepare for 5 subjects. Subjects are English,Reasoning,Computer Awareness,General Knowledge & Quantitative Aptitude. There will be two exams,one preliminary test & second is main exam. So,prepare yourself from now only
