Tips for preparation of IAS exam for B.E. 1st year student?


hello
i am a BE. 1st year student &
i want to be an ias officer. how how can i prepare
myself in 3year for ias exam???????
kindly give me some tips

IAS is one of the Indian Civil Service exam,for joining in as a IAS officer and as you have mentioned that you are a B.E 1st year student you are not eligible as per the education qualification which is needed for the exam.

The exam consists of:

>> Preliminary Exam
>> Main Exam
>> Interview


The Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) includes two objective type question papers of two hundred marks and two hours time duration for each paper.

  • Facets of Indian Culture by Spectrum. (Culture)
  • Geography of India by Majid Husain. (Geography)

  • Certificate Physical and Human Geography by Goh Cheng Leong. (Geography)
  • Indian Polity for Civil Services Examinations by M. Laxmikanth. (Polity)
  • Indian Economy by Ramesh Singh. (Economy)
  • Science and Technology in India by TMH. (Science and Technology)
  • Environmental Studies from Crisis by R.Rajagoplan. (Environment)
  • India Year Book (Current Affairs)
  • Manorama Yearbook. (Current Affairs)
  • Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning – R. S.Aggarwal (CSAT Paper 2 : Reasoning)
