Is it true that Male Nurses are not recruited in Indian Army?


Hi, my self basavaraja. I have been graduated in nursing and now i am interested to join and serve Indian Army. But i have heard that Male Nurses are not recruited in Indian Army. Is it true?

Indian Army recruits lab attendant for the military hospitals and there is no special recruitment of nurses in Indian Army. You just need 12th with PCB qualification for joining Indian Army as lab attendant.

You don't need nursing degree to get into Indian Army. Most of the nurses are females and males are not recruited for this post.
