I have done BE course in MECHANICAL stream. I have scored 57% marks in BE MECHANICAL. Now i aspire to get job in ONGC. So i want to know about the criteria in ONGC for B.tech students?

Eligibility Criteria Required to Apply for ONGC jobs for B.Tech Candidates:

The best suitable post B.Tech/ B.E Candidates in ONGC is "Graduate Trainee" (GTs). The basic educational Qualification required and age criteria are given below.

For Electrical: Candidates must have a full time bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

For Electronics: Candidates must have a full time bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.

For Mechanical: Candidates must have a full time bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

For Civil: Candidates must have a full time bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Age Criteria: Maximum Age for General Candidates is 30 years and there will be an age relaxation for reserved candidates.

Yes, you are eligible for ONGC recruitment.

Educational Qualification:-

Age limit:

Your age should be in between 18 to 30 years.

Pay Scale: Rs. 24,900 – 50,500/- Per Month

The selection Process will be based on GATE – 2015 Score.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) recruits the talented candidates for the various posts.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidates age should be in the range of 21-30 years.

* Candidate should complete graduation in any engineering stream from any recognized university.

* Candidates should secure at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

* Candidate must and should get qualified and secure a good score in the GATE exam.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

* Written examination.

* Personal Interview.

ONGC recruits engineering students of various disciplines every year. But I am sorry to say that you are not eligible. Following are the eligibility for the exam:

Educational qualification: Student must possess a graduation degree in specified stream with minimum of 60% marks.

Age Limit: Up to 30 years. Relaxation in age will be given to reserved category students.

Selection Procedure: The students will be called for interview on the basis of GATE score. The weightage of GATE score in the selection procedure is more. So if any student score more marks in the GATE exam, then he/she will have a fair chance of getting selected.

**But unfortunately, you do not fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. So you are not eligible for getting job in ONGC.

I am a production and industrial engineer. Can i apply for ONGC? And how can i apply?

Hi friend, you are eligible for the ONGC job but you have to fulfill some of the requirements which i have been listed below
1.age limit between 18-30
2. 55% of marks
3.should have passed GATE exam

Sir, I belong to sc category in electrical engineering, And I have only 57.67% of marks in my btech, and my age will be 35 years at the time of gate 2019 , if I get a good score in gate 2019, will I have a chance to apply for ongc ??
Please suggest me !!

Eligiblity vriteria for ONGC jobs : 1) age should be between 21 to 28 years , 2) cleared GATE examination , 3) should be medically fit , 4) Above 60% marks in B.TECH

I am doing my b.tech in Biotechnology so can i get any chance in ONGC jobs
