Re: What is the effect of having tattoo for writing UPSC examination?
The selection of candidates in UPSC is purely based on the entrance examination score and personal interview.
However, there are some services like I.P.S, I.F.S etc for which Physical fitness test is mandatory. Then as per rules you rejected for the posts. Therefore, more or less getting a tattoo has it's effect on the UPSC exam. |

It is not advisable to have tattoos when you appear for government jobs. If you have any remove them before you go for an interview and medical examinations. The career is more important than any other things like tattoo etc. So concentrate on your studies and prepare well for the UPSC examination. So do not have tattoos when appear for interviews.

There would be no problem if you have a tattoo while giving the UPSC exam, but it would be good if advisable if you hide it. But if you selected for the interview, then you must remove that from your body otherwise you might be disqualified .

Re: What is the effect of having tattoo for writing UPSC examination?
To be very honest , a candidate having tattoo suitable for corporate sector as well as private sector because they observe on the quality of work ,less on personality.
While when you go for UPSC exam ,things get more differ than above mentioned. In UPSC exam, a candidate should have UPSC aspirant mentality. Fortunately ,if you cleared preliminary and main exam ,even though ,you have to qualify interview ,where they observed your whole personality ,IQ and you too. So tattoo creates problem for you. |
