UPSC conducts Civil Services examination every year. The minimum academic qualification required for this exam is bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year candidates of bachelor's degree can also apply for exam. Post graduation is not required for this exam, only graduation is enough to appear for it.
The age limit for exam is 21-32 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to candidates of reserved category. The preparation can be done at basic level by NCERT books. Then you need to study recommended books. You must read daily newspapers so that you remain updated with current affairs. The Hindu is the best newspaper to read. Revision must be done at regular intervals. |
