Can I get admission to study B.A.(Political Science) in Delhi University if secured 71% in 12th PCB?


Sir,
I have got 71% in aggregate in 12th PCB stream.
General English: 73 marks
Physics: 65 marks
Chemistry: 56 marks
Biology: 77 marks
Environmental Science: 81 marks,
I want to know that can I get admission in B.A. Hons in Political Science in Delhi University?

As per your 12th standard marks, you are not eligible for B.A in political science in Delhi university.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 80% marks from a recognized board are eligible for get admission in Delhi University.

Your age should be above 18 years.

After 12th you can apply for BA Political science in delhi university.the admission is done through marks obtained in 12th.
After BA(hons) political science you can do ph.d in political science. BA(HONS) is a 4 year course.
If you have bachelors in political science plus b.ed candidates can become political science teacher.

You have an outside chance to get admission.
If you are from the reserved category then you are almost ensured of a chance to study the course of B.A. Hons in Political Science.
So just fill up all the forms of all the available colleges under Delhi University and wait till the Final round of counselling is being done and you will have every opportunity to get yourself admitted to the course of B.A. Hons in Political Science.

Admission cutoff in DU goes really high, so admission in difficult with this percentage there. But, you can try in other better colleges, some of which are mentioned below, which also have good reputation:
1) Loyola College,
2) Lovely Professional University
3) St. Xavier's College,
4) Christ University ......
