If you have completed your degree from a correspondence college & if that college is valid then can apply for any job or any entrance exam. Validity of college & university is provided by the UGC & government. So, you can apply for any exam or job.

Any degree from a correspondence university, which is approved by UGC or AICTE, then it, is valid only. You can appear for jobs or higher studies after completion of degree through correspondence mode. Only some of the top MNCs will not consider the correspondence qualification for their recruitment. The correspondence degree is valid for government jobs also. You can also apply for higher studies after completion of correspondence degree. |

Yes, correspondence degree is valid for any exam or job. Only required condition for that is the university/institute offering distance education must be recognized by the Distance Education Council. The degree offered by the DEC recognized university is valid for government jobs as well as private jobs.

Re: Is a correspondence degree valid for any exam or job?
Correspondence degree is a mode of education where the individual is not present physically in the classroom or at the centre. It is valid to get any government or private jobs, so there is nothing to worry about. A degree from regular mode is equal to the degree received from correspondence mode. With this degree you can apply for any entrance examination and apply for different kind of jobs.
But one thing you should keep in mind that the institute from where you are pursuing your correspondence degree must be recognized by DEC (Distance Education Council). If it is not then I am sorry, you cannot apply for any government examinations and jobs. |

Re: Is a correspondence degree valid for any exam or job?
If you have obtained the degree from a recognized correspondence college or university, then surely it will be accepted by government jobs.
In case of private jobs, rules are different at different companies. Some companies might not accept correspondence degree holders and some may accept without any issues. |
