You can choose Statistics instead of Mathematics because you have lots of job opportunities in the field of Analytic and Data sciences. You have to choose a good college. If you want to study Mathematics in graduation you can do Mathematics and in Master’s you can choose statistics. The job opportunities will be more for statistics than mathematics. There are lots of MNC hiring statistics students for their companies with very good salary. So the job prospect for statistics students will be brighter than mathematics.
