Educational pattern of the candidate should be 10+2+3. Scope for Higher Studies after B.Ed; M.Ed is a higher option after B.Ed. But for joining this course one should be a post graduate in any discipline. This post graduation degree is offered by DIET centers all over the country. After the completion of M.Ed course, graduates can join as higher secondary teachers in various institutions. Mphil is also another option. Career Opportunities after B.Ed: Job opportunities for these professionals are numerous. They can find employment in various government and government aided institutions. For this recruitment the government organizes SET exaam. After qualifying this examination one can join as teacher in any government school in the State. Re: Detailed information and benefits of studying B.Ed course?
Nowadays to become a teacher for even the primary level government schools a candidate must have the B.Ed Degree to be eligible.
Bachelor of Education is a course to nurture and improve skills so that you can learn the skill of teaching students. You will be given training as to how to teach the students so that can easily teach them in a way that they are able to understand. The B.Ed Course is a 1 year Program. Once you are enrolled and you have completed the course you can apply for all the School Recruitment Examination. This is the main benefit of having the B.Ed Degree. |

Re: Detailed information and benefits of studying B.Ed course?
Is there an option to study B. Ed. through correspondence? If yes, does it carry the same weight as to the regular course while applying for any Government jobs (Teaching)? Also, kindly provide suggestions/links for the colleges if possible.
