The procedure to join in armed forces, is candidate should apply for the entrance exams which are being held. There are eligibility conditions which candidates should satisfy in order to apply for the exams. You can apply for CDS exam which offers candidates to join in Armed forces.

To tell about CDS exam it stands for Combined Defence Service and is being conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and is held every year twice as CDS I and CDS II. The eligibility criteria's needed are:

Nationality:

# Candidate should have citizenship in India

Age limit:

# Age limit needed is 19-24 years for IMA, 19-22 years for Indian Navy, 19-23 years for IAF and for OTA it is 19-25 years

Educational qualification:

# The needed educational qualification is, candidate should have completed a degree from a recognized university in any stream of education.

Indian Army Dental corps recruitment notification is released by Indian army for recruiting Short service commissioned officers as Army Dental corps (AD corps).

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be citizen of India.

* The candidate should not have attained 45 years of age as on 31st December 2015.

* Candidate should have completed BDS/ MDS with minimum of 55% marks from any university or institution recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI).

* Candidate must have completed one year internship recognized by DCI.

* Candidate must possess permanent dental registration certificate.

The candidates who have appeared for All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Exam (AIPGDEE) are eligible to apply. Candidate must submit the copy of mark sheet of AIPGDEE along with the application.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

* Candidates who found eligible will be short listed based on their final BDS/ MDS and attempts taken in final year BDS/ MDS.

* Short listed candidates are selected for Interview.

* The candidate who qualified in the interview round are called for medical fitness test which will take place before selection board.
