I have done my BDS, getting a MDS seat is next to impossible. Could you please let me know any other coarse which I could pursue.

Clinical research.

It is a branch of Medical science that determines the safety and effectiveness
of Medications,Devices,Diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended
for human use. These may be used for prevention, treatment,diagnosis or for
relieving symptoms of a disease.

Healthcare management.

It is the field relating to leadership, management, and administration of
hospitals,hospital networks, and health care systems.

You can go for diploma/certificate programs.

Dental Hygienist Certificate Course
Dental Mechanic Certificate Course
Diploma Course In Dental Assistance.

After BDS, MDS is better option always but still there are many other options like... After BDS you can either do job or go for P.G i.e also a good option........or try to get job in government hospital with exam conducted and also you can open your own clinic too.....


AFMC is an institution for training of Armed Forces Personnel.if seats not filled by Armed forces personnel are allotted to para military offrs, Ex-SSC offrs and civilians.if you are a civilian and joining in AFMC then civilians has to sign a bond of Rs 5 lacs on joining the course.

Even you can apply for SSC of various armed forces like army,navy,airforce..

The notification of officer in armed force in medical side come in employement newspaper so have
a knowledge of it...

Tere are various courses after BDS apart from MDS. I suggest you to join MBA IN Healthcare Management or M.Sc. in Clinical Research. Both the courses are run by I.C.R.I., Govt. politechnic Road,Ambavadi,Ahmedabad.
