In order to prepare for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering 1st year examination, you are required to have good books to prepare for and besides this you are required to get the basic syllabus of the examination.

The syllabus for the examination basically consists of,

>> Friction

>> Introduction to Engineering Mechanics

>> Work-Energy Method

>> Kinematics of a Particle

>> Mechanical Vibrations

>> Centers of Gravity and Centroid

Some of the best books you may go through are,

* Engineering Mechanics by D.H.Young and S.Timoshenko, Mc Graw Hill Book Compan

* Engineering Mechanics - Dynamics and Statics by Ferdinand L.Singer

* Engineering Mechanics by S.S.Bhavikati
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
