Basically lateral entry is option for diploma holder students to join b.tech course. Under this scheme a diploma holder student get admission in b.tech in 2nd year.

For getting admission candidate must have to give a lateral entry entrance test. Score in this entrance exam will decide that either you will get a good college or not. Obviously if your score is good then you will get good government college unless not.

LEET is conducted in two part i.e. General Exam & Professional Exam.
In General exam they will ask questions related to subjects like Science, Maths, English etc while in Professional Exam they will ask questions related to your trade in which candidate completed his diploma.
