Job opportunities for B.Tech(Mechanical Engineering) fresher?


Hello
I don't want go for M-Tech after my B-Tech
I am doing B.Tech in Mechanical
due to some economical problems
so i want to do Job after B-Tech
for that what i have to do...?

There is good scope for available for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering in both the Public and Private sectors as well. After completing B.Tech Mechanical Engineering you can find job opportunities in Cement industry, Mining Industry, Automobile Engineering, Power Sector, Manufacturing plants.

You can also get job opportunity in PSU’s companies like, ONGC, DRDO, SAIL and ISRO etc.

B.Tech Mechanical Engineering Graduates works in various areas which include the Design, Control and Co-ordination of process of Manufacturing products.

Apart from this B.Tech Mechanical Engineering can also find job opportunity in Government sectors as well. You can apply for the Government exams like, Indian Engineering Service (IES), Civil Service Exam, Indian Railways, Public Sector Banks, PWD etc.

Mechanical Engineering is an evergreen stream which offers good number of employment opportunities to its specialized graduates. So do not worry, there are number of jobs (Core sector jobs, Public Sector jobs) available in India and abroad as well. Since you are right now doing your B.Tech still, do not neglect any core topic. Try to get good command over Thermodynamics, Strength of Materials (SM), Hear Transfer (HT), Machine Design, Fluid Mechanics topics as these help you in getting good job.
