I am pursuing 12th PCM and preparing for JEE Main. I want to study B.Arch so is it necessary to give NATA for joining B.Arch course or JEE Main is enough?

No, it is compulsory to appear in NATA exam to study B.Arch for 12th PCM student. If you have appeared in JEE Main 2 exam of B.Arch.
NATA is different exam and it is also for admission in B.Arch course in top colleges.

Candidate must have passed 12th from any recognised board to appear in NATA and JEE Main exam.

Yes, NATA exam is not necessary for B.Arch course.

You can do B.Arch course through JEE Main exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks are eligible for JEE Main 2016 exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates.

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

Those candidates who have secured top 1,50,000 rank (including all categories) in JEE Main examination are eligible for JEE Advanced exam 2016.

Yo may write the JEE for such stream. but through that, you will get the admission in IITs and NITs only.

To be eligible for admission in all other colleges for the same, you need to write the NATA.

NATA stands for the National Aptitude Test for Architecture.

Various colleges other than the IITs and NITs offer the B. Arch. through this test.

It is conducted from April to June every year and the forms are sold out in the month of February to April.

For the admission a common merit list is prepared by based on the marks obtained by them in the test and the marks in 12th.

The weightage of the marks is 50-50 for both and the students are called for the counselling through which they get the colleges.
