Percentage required for B.Ed and M.A in graduation for general category?
I have got 55% in graduation from geography honors. I want to know how many percentages required for B.Ed and M.A in graduation for general category.

In order to pursue B.Ed candidate must have secured more than 55% in graduation.
Candidate must have secured 50% in graduation in order to get admission in M.A. in graduation. There is no age limit for both B.Ed and M.A. in graduation. Course duration for B.Ed. is 2 years. Course duration for M.A. in graduation is 2 years. |

The minimum marks required for B.Ed and M.A course may differ from college to college based on various factors. However, those candidates who have completed their Graduation with 50% percentage are eligible to apply for both the B.Ed and M.A course. It is mandatory that the candidate must qualify in the entrance exam conducted by the respective university. Both the entrance exam and Graduation scores are take into consideration. Yes, you are eligible to get admission in B.Ed or Master's course from a recognised university.
B.Ed stand for Bachelor of Education and it is a two years course after graduation. The required eligibility to appear for entrance examination to get admission is candidate must have passed graduation degree with at least 50%. So, you are eligible to get admission. Yes, you can also pursue master's degree which is of two years duration and eligibility to get admission is candidate must have passed graduation from recognised university. |

For admission in B.Ed you need 50% marks in Graduation which you have already got. Therefore, you can surely apply for B.Ed entrance exam for getting admission. Exam is mostly conducted by the concerned university.
As far as M.A admission is concerned, it will depend on the university. Some conduct entrance exam and some give admission based on marks in graduation. There is no percentage criteria in most cases. |

For B.Ed the required percentage is 55% only for General Candidates and for MA the required minimum percentage for general candidates is 60% in aggregate.

B.Ed is Bachelor of Education. The percentage of marks required in bachelor's degree is 50% for this course. For Master of Arts, percentage criteria differs from university to university.
Even with passing percentage of marks in bachelor's degree you can get admission in Master of Arts. In universities like Delhi University, Calcutta University etc, good percentage is required. For JNU, you need to appear for entrance exam for M.A. You are eligible for B.Ed and MA with 55% marks. |

B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education and you are eligible to pursue the course. The eligibility to pursue course is candidate need to qualify in entrance examination conducted by different university and the eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have 50% aggregate in graduation.
You can also go with master's degree as you are also eligible for it. The eligibility to pursue course is candidate must have passed graduation from a recognised university. There is no age limit to pursue any of course. |

You are required to score minimum 50% of marks in Graduation to eligible for B.Ed and MA course. The admission process will be differs between B.Ed and MA course. The candidate required to clear the entrance exam conducted by the respective university. Since, it is not possible for you to do both the B.Ed and MA course at the same. Please select any one of the course based on your Interest and future aspiration.
