-> yes , physics has a great impact and significance in civil engineering
-> Basically civil engineering deals with structural properties , elevations , moments ,
Force , couple as all these comes with involvement of physics .
-> Static mechanics also comes under physics only . So absolutely physics is important in civil engineering

Physics and maths are the main subjects of any engineering stream and civil engineering has a lot to do with physics. Most of the subjects in civil engineering will be related to this subject only.

Physical science is an integral part of civil engineering and the basic concepts involved in it has link with physics.
