I am a B.Com student. I have taken admission in IPCC. I have got registration number. Can I join Articleship before training or within training? Is it allowable?

Yes, you can join Articleship immediately on joining the CA IPCC. Candidates have to do Articleship of 9 months for the eligibility to appear for the IPCC. After clearing the Intermediate examinations (both the groups), you have to do the articled training for 3 years and then appear for the CA Final Examinations. Apart from this, there is a four weeks integrated course on Information Technology and Soft skills and orientation course to be completed before Articleship. The CA course is conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The ICAI website link is given Click Here
