please tel me sir/madam..What is the eligibility criteria followed for applying internship in IT companies? How to apply? What is the process followed? Who can apply and How? It will be really helpful if you can provide me the details soon. Thank you!

In order to apply for internship in IT companies you have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

> You should be pursuing your bachelor's degree course from a recognized university/institute.

> You should have completed half of your course before applying for internship. You can apply after completing 2nd year and above.

> Any extra qualification will be an added advantage.

> Good communication skills with decent behaviour is must.

> Previous backlogs are not allowed.

> Maximum 2 years gap is allowed.

> High percentage is not required by some of the companies, but you should have a score of minimum 60%.

IT companies does not accept personal applications for internship. You must have a contact, so that you can apply through their reference or you can contact your college and apply through their reference.

At first you have to get a permission letter and a NOC from the training & placement cell of your college and get it signed by the principal. Write an application and mention that you want to do internship and the area of your training. Now prepare a resume attach the application, the letter with it and send it to the HR department of the company.

You will receive an acknowledgement letter if your resume gets selected. Next you have to attach the letter with the NOC and send it again to the company. Within a few days you will be called to appear for an examination. IT companies selects the eligible candidates on the basis of marks secured in the examination followed by HR interview and hence, after clearing both you can become an intern in IT companies.
