I want to apply in CSIR-NET for Life Sciences. I am doing M.Sc in Botany. Kindly let me know am I eligible to apply or not? Please reply as soon as possible.

You are doing M.Sc in Botany so, you are eligible for CSIR NET exam in the Life Science subject.

Those candidates who have completed the BS-4 year program/BE/B. Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc or Equivalent degree with at least 55% marks are eligible for CSIR NET exam.

Your age should be below 28 years.

Yes, M.Sc Botany with at least 55% marks is enough to appear in CSIR NET life sciences paper. There is relaxation of 5% marks available for candidates who belong to reserved category.

Hence, you can apply for it if you have got the required marks in your M.Sc degree from a recognised university .
