Eligibility basically depends on which year you are presently in. If you are a final year pursuing B.E/ B.Tech candidate, you are eligible to apply for JRF Exam. Otherwise, means if you are in B.E 1st, 2nd and 3rd years you cannot apply for JRF. As far as your stream (IT) Information Technology is concerned, you are eligible for JRF Exam. Yes, the minimum educational qualification required is B.E/ B.Tech in ANY DISCIPLINE from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks. So you are eligible for JRF Exam, only if you are in final year of B.E/ or have completed B.E (4 years) and no matter which stream is your's.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
