Respected Sir, I have completed MA (Sociology) scoring 53% marks and now I want to pursue PhD so I want to know am I eligible to pursue PhD after completing MA (Sociology) scoring 53% marks from Mumbai University? If yes then please tell me in which college can I apply for PhD?

Sorry, you are not eligible to pursue PhD after completing MA Sociology after getting 53% marks from Mumbai University. To study PhD you should have completed MA Sociology with over 55% marks (for SC/ST 50% marks). So it is not possible for you to study PhD with less than 55% marks in the MA in Sociology.
