Re: Am I eligible for SET or NET after M.A English in distance mode?
If you have got 55% marks or above and have completed M.A from a recognized distance mode university, then surely you will be eligible for NET or SET.
Hence, no need to worry about your distance education, just make sure that you have got a UGC DEC approved degree. |

Re: Am I eligible for SET or NET after M.A English in distance mode?
Yes, you are eligible to become a lecturer at the age of 40 years, because there is no age limit to apply for lecturer's position. If you have completed your M.A English from a recognized distance institute with minimum 50% marks then you are eligible to appear for SET or NET examination.
Hence, after qualifying the examination with good marks you can start your lectureship in colleges. |

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized University are eligible for NET/SET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree. There are no age criteria. |
