I am doing M.Ed now and I want to do PhD in future. Can I do PhD after completion of my M.Ed course? Please reply as soon as possible.

Yes, you can do Ph.D course after completion of M.Ed course.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D course. But yous should qualify in UGC NET exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.

I have done B.sc B.ed ,M.A ,..M.sc and this year I m doing M.ed.I just want to know that I want to do PhD from Germany or USA and want to make my career in education . What is the procedure?Or how to apply , should I need to prepare for GRE?
