Is it compulsory to qualify NET exam for doing Ph.D course?


Hello, i have done M.Sc. from mathematics now i want to do phd .Is it compulsoury to qualify net for phd?

You have done M.Sc in Mathematics so you are not eligible for UGC NET exam but you can apply for CSIR NET exam.

You can do Ph.D degree through CSIR NET exam. Yes, it is compulsory to qualify in CSIR NET exam for Ph.D course otherwise you will not get stipend during Ph.D course.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.

Is this course "High National Certificate (HNC) in Construction and the Built Environment" of MIT Skills, Pune will be for diploma or B. Tech(Civil) holders?
