CSIR or UGC NET, in which exam to appear for admission in PhD being MSc(Computer Applications) student?
Hello everyone, I am doing MSc(Computer Applications). I want to give NET(National Eligibility Test). But I am little confused about CSIR and UGC? Which one is for me? What exam between these two I give for PhD admission?

Re: CSIR or UGC NET, in which exam to appear for admission in PhD being MSc(Computer Applications) student?
You can opt in any of the above mentioned NET examinations as you are eligible for both of the NET examination because you are pursuing Masters degree in Science subject and want to pursue PhD course in the same.
Candidates those who want to pursue PhD in any field except science subjects can only appear in the UGC-NET examination. Candidates those who want to pursue PhD course in Science subject can apply in both of the CSIR-NET and UGC-NET examination. |
