The exam date for SLET entrance exam varies from state to state. The application form is generally issued during the month of October and the last date for applying online remains in November. However, you need to visit the concerned official website of state to get exam dates regarding SLET exam.

Difference between NET and SLET:

NET (i.e) National Eligibility Test is conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC). It is a National level entrance exam. Where you can get a Lecturer job in any Indian University with UGC NET score card. All Indian Universities accept NET score cards.

SLET stands for State Level Eligibility Test which is conducted by the respective states. After qualifying in SLET entrance exam you can apply for lectureship in a particular state which state you belong from.
