Re: Eligibility to appear in CSIR-UGC-NET for M.E. student?
B.Tech or B.E with 60% marks from a recognized University is sufficient for CSIR NET. If you haven't got 60% marks marks in B.Tech or B.E, then try to score at least 55% marks in your M.E to become eligible for CSIR NET.
There is relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category candidates and if you belong to a reserved category, then surely you can avail relaxation with supporting documents. Hence, you can make your decision according to your percentage of marks in your B.Tech and M.E Degree. Also, make sure that you have done your course from a AICTE approved Institute.
