Eligibility to appear in CSIR-UGC-NET for M.E. student?

i am completed by M.E,
am i eligible for ugc net
or csir-ugc net???????

Yes, you are eligible for UGC NET and CSIR NET exam because you have completed M.E degree.

Those candidate who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its hold 50% above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.

The educational qualification required for UGC NET Exam is masters degree from recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for UGC NET exam.

There is no age criteria for UGC NET Exam but for JRF your age should be below 28 years.

B.Tech or B.E with 60% marks from a recognized University is sufficient for CSIR NET. If you haven't got 60% marks marks in B.Tech or B.E, then try to score at least 55% marks in your M.E to become eligible for CSIR NET.

There is relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category candidates and if you belong to a reserved category, then surely you can avail relaxation with supporting documents.

Hence, you can make your decision according to your percentage of marks in your B.Tech and M.E Degree. Also, make sure that you have done your course from a AICTE approved Institute.
