Eligibility to appear in UGC-NET if secured 57% in M.A.?


Hi
I am a 2 years graduate, then I did 1 year bridge course,
And now I have completed MA with 57% Marks.
Am I elligible to appear for UGC NET EXam???

You are definitely eligible for UGC NET as you have got above 55% marks in your Master's Degree.

The minimum qualification for UGC NET is a Master's degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University. There is 5% relaxation available for candidates who belong to reserved category.

Hence, don't worry about anything and be prepared for UGC NET. 57% marks in M.A is absolutely fine for it.

Yes, you are eligible for UGC NET exam because you have completed MA degree with above 57% marks.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET Exam is masters degree from recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET Exam.

There is no age criteria for NET Exam but for JRF your age should be below 28 years.
