Eligibility to study PhD(Urdu) in Maulana Azad National Urdu University for English postgraduate who is graduate in Urdu?


I have done M.A. in English, though I am from Urdu medium school and graduate in Urdu also. Now, I want to join Maulana Azad National Urdu University for M.A. Urdu programme. But my PG is in English as I have mentioned above. Am I eligible for PhD(Urdu)?

Yes, definitely you can do Ph.D in Urdu from Maulana Azad National Urdu University after the completion of your Post Graduation. No matter in which medium of language you have completed your Post Graduation.
Candidates those who have completed their Masters degree from a recognised University with a minimum of 55% of marks in it are definitely eligible to do Ph.D in the respective field.
