Do I have to give entrance exam for getting admission in PhD(Urdu) course of Maulana Azad National Urdu University? I am Urdu postgraduate and now want to do PhD. Please tell me about this.

Yes, definitely it is necessary to qualify in the entrance examination in order to get admission to study the Ph.D course in the above mentioned University.
Candidates must have to appear in the NET examination, qualifying in which only they will be eligible to opt for the Ph.D courses.

If you have UGC NET score card then you can direct apply for Ph.D course. But interview is essential for Ph.D course.

Those who have completed masters degree in Urdu from a recognized University with above 55% marks from a recognized University are eligible for Ph.D course in Maulana Azad National Urdu University.
