Maulana Azad National Urdu University is a renowned university which comes under an Act of Parlimanet. The university actually came into existence in the year 1998. The university is also famous for being the one and only udru university present in the world. It provides various Diploma, degree and post graduate degree courses in Urdu Medium. University provides both regular as well as distance education facilities to the students. The university mainly works on its aim of promoting urdu language in the country and also to impart various technical as well as non technical courses in urdu medium.

Job Profile:

Maulana Azad National Urdu University invites applications from the eligible candidates for the teaching post of Professor in different subjects. Candidates will be placed in Lucknow Campus, College of Teacher Education of the university, Centre for Urdu Language, Literature & Culture, Residential Coaching Academy.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates should not have age more than 50 years for the post of Professor in Maulana Azad National Urdu University. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in age as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Ph.D. degree in the concerened or allied discipline with some years of experience in the field of research work. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years experience in the university or experience in research at the university level. Candidates interested in the post of Professor in Women Education/Education/Distance Education/Business Management are required to have Master’s degree in Arts/Humanities or Social Sciences.

Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with the Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

Registration fee of Rs. 500 is to be submitted by all General and OBC category candidates. SC/ST/PWD candidates may enclose Rs. 50 alongwith the application form. The registration fee is need to be submitted through crossed demand draft drawn in favour of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderbabd on any nationalized bank payable at Hyderabad.

Selection Process:

Eligible candidates will be called by the university for the personal interview test that will be held on a specified date. A selection committee will take the interview test of each and every eligible canddiates seperately. University reserves the right to not to fill any of the specified vacancies.
