How to do Ph.D after completing M.A in English long back?
Hi, I completed my MA(eng) in 2001 & wish to study PHD. Could you tell me how to go by it?

You can apply for admission if you have got 55% marks in M.A degree. Most of the universities release admission notification every year for PH.D admissions in India.
You can apply on a prescribed application format and appear for written exam and interview for admission. If you have qualified NET/SET before applying then your chances of getting admission will be more. |

There is no problem in it, you can now as well pursue your Ph.D course, provided you should fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria;
> you need to score a minimum of 55% in aggregate in your PG course. > You will have to appear for NET/SLET/JRF/GATE examination in order to pursue the course. However, if you fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria, then you surely are eligible to pursue the course. |
