Is it necessary to appear in any entrance exam to study correspondence PhD in History?
Is there any entrance test compulsory for studying correspondences PhD course in History? Kindly provide me the information at the earliest and as soon as possible.

Most of the reputed universities have provision for entrance exam and interview for admission in Ph.D programme. Without merit you will only get admission in a low ranked university.
If you want to get exempted from entrance exam then try to qualify NET/SET in the given subject and be prepared for the interview stage. |

Yes, you are required to appear and qualify either the entrance exam conducted by the respective university or You can also qualify in the UGC NET entrance exam to get admission for PhD in History. Normally, most of the universities accept the UGC NET entrance exam score.
