Opportunity to start Research at the age of 39 years old?

I am m.sc. in botany. I have passed 1998. For my family problem I could not tried for any research work. I got the job for assistant teacher for biology. Still I am working as a teacher. Now I am 39 years old. Now I feel if there will be any opportunity to start my research. I think I have lost my age for Net & others.

There is no upper age limit for research programmes if you have the required qualification. Also, for NET lectureship there isn't any upper age limit mentioned. Hence, you can apply for NET lectureship without any doubt.

You can also apply for Ph.D admission if you are interested in research programme. Admission will be based on the performance in written exam and interview conducted by the concerned university.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
