You have passed M.A in Sociology so you are eligible for Ph.D course.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

There is no age criteria for Ph.D course.

Yes, you are eligible for PhD after completing MA in Sociology. Since, you have completed Master Degree in first class in Sociology so you can apply for PhD in Sociology. There are so may universities offering PhD in Sociology course. The following eligibility is required to pursue B Tech (Environmental Engineering):

A student needs to complete Post Graduation course from a recognized board. The aggregate in these three subjects in class Master Degree should be more than 55%. Some university may conduct an admission test for admission into the course.

There is no minimum age limit required for PhD course.

I am happy to say you that you can definitely do Ph.D after the completion of M.A in Sociology.

Eligibility criteria to do Ph.D:-

Candidates must have completed Master's degree from a recognized University.
Candidates must have scored at least 55% of marks in Master's degree.
Candidates age must be below 28 years.
