I want to do PhD in Applied Mathematics.
So, TIFR is offering this PhD?

Yes PhD in Applied Mathematics is allowed under TIFR.
Tata Institute of Fundamental Research(TIFR) allows the students who have cracked the Entrance Examination to study PhD in Applied Mathematics.
The candidate who is aspiring to study needs to have Master Degree with an overall percentage of more than 50% throughout the career.
Also the candidate needs to be holding a Master Degree in the same subject in which he has completed the Master Degree.
So to apply for Applied Mathematics you need to be a Master Degree holder in Mathematics at the least to get the chance to complete your PhD.
