Hello sir, I have got 75% in M.Tech in Computer Science and now want to do PhD from Guru Jambeshwar University of Science & Technology, Hissar. Procedure to get admission?

You need to apply for admission, when there is a notification by the concerned university for Ph.D programme in computer science. Admission will be on merit based on the performance in entrance exam and interview.

Those who have qualified NET/SET/GATE in the concerned subject, are exempted from entrance exam stage.

Applications for enrollment of PhD course shall be advertised once in a year in the month of September or October by the Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hissar. Candidates have to apply online for taking admission to the PhD in Computer Science at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hissar. Those who have Master’s Degree in Computer Science with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university are eligible to do PhD in Computer Science at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hissar. Admission is done on the basis of an entrance test and interview cum counseling conducted by the university. The duration of the entrance test is two hours. You should fill up the admission form provided by the prospective institute and should fulfill the minimum eligibility requirement for admission.

A small entrance test in conducted by the university mentioned above for admission of candidates in PhD course, so you will have to clear the examination and then get admission in the course and continue with your studies further.
