I am Subasish Chakraborty and I have completed my M.A. in Defence and Strategic Studies. Now I want to do PhD in Defence Studies from Punjabi University. Can I know about the eligibility criteria for admission? Kindly tell me when the admission will start also?

The last date for online registration for admission to the PhD in Punjabi University was 11-07-2016. So the admission of PhD will commence in the month of June next year also.
Those who have cleared Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with 55% marks are eligible to apply to the PhD in Defence Studies in Punjabi University. The admission to the PhD will be done through an Entrance Test held by Punjabi University, Patiala. The candidates who have qualified UGC-CSIR NET / SLET / GATE /GPAT and M.Phil degree holders are exempted from the Entrance Test conducted by the university.
