I have Diploma in computer sc and tec , thats why i got admission in B tech . After B .tech i am doing business for medical shop . Now i wan to go for D pharmacy . can i do it? What is the minimum criteria followed? Can you please answer me on the same?

Yes, you can apply for D.Pharm course after completion of B.Tech.

D.Pharmacy stands for Diploma in Pharmacy. It is a 2 years diploma programme in Pharmacy.

Minimum qualification needed to get admission for the Diploma in Pharmacy course is 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology from a recognized board of education.

Minimum eligibility criteria for D.pharm course::::::::::::::>

->The applicant should have pass 10 +2 exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:
Mathematics or Biology.

->The applicant should have complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

No, you are not eligible to do D.Pharmacy course after completion of your B.Tech course. To be eligible to do D.Pharmacy course, you must have completed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology subjects from a recognised board. Since, you have not pursued 12th standard, being a Diploma holder in CSE, you are not eligible to do B.Tech course.

For diploma in pharmacy or D.Pharma you just need class 12th qualification with PCB stream. Admission will be on the basis of performance in entrance exam and seats are allotted through counselling.

This is a regular course and there is no distance mode available. Admission will be through polytechnic entrance exam.

Eligibility to take admission in D.Pharmacy :

* Candidate must pass 10+2 examination with physics and chemistry as a compulsory subjects along with any of the Mathematics and Biology.

*Candidate should complete his 17 years age on or before admission time.

* The candidate should belongs to Indian National .

If you meet the above eligible criteria, then you can apply for the course.

As you have dome B.Tech that means you haven't studied Biology at your 12th level of examination and therefore, I am sorry to say that you cannot opt for D.Pharma as you should have studied PCB at your 12th standard in order to be eligible for it.

Yes, you are eligible to do D.Pharm course after completion of B.Tech.

D.Pharm is Diploma in Pharmacy. It is a two year course. You can join this course if you have done 12th class with PCM or PCB stream.

Doing D.Pharm after B.Tech is not meaningful.

I would suggest you to go for M.Tech after B.Tech., You can prepare for GATE examination to get admission to top ranking engineering colleges in India.

Yes, you can do D.Pharma course.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with PCM from a recognized board are eligible for diploma in Pharmacy.

Your age should be above 18 years.
